Before we start
What we’ll need.How we’ll read progress.
The plan depends on your access and operating conditions, and progress is judged by what your data can actually show. Both are set out before any work begins.
Scope & access
The scope follows your real operating conditions.
Locations, service areas, competition and your current site shape the plan. This is what we’ll ask for:
- CMS or website access
- Search Console and GA4 access
- Google Business Profile ownership
- Accurate service and location details
- Timely review of content

Local search & SEO FAQ
A fewuseful answers.
Can you guarantee a ranking or a Maps position?
No. Search results vary by location, competition, platform changes and the quality of the available site and profile information. We agree on the work and report the indicators the available data can support.
Can you support a business with multiple locations?
Yes. Pacific Rim Storage, one of our case studies, has six locations. The scope is based on the number of locations, service areas, differences between markets, site structure and access to the relevant profiles and data.
Do we need a Google Business Profile if we have a website?
Usually, yes, if customers visit you or you serve a local area. The profile is what shows on Google Maps and in local results, with your hours, directions, calls and reviews. The website explains your services in depth. They work best when their details match.
Do we need to rebuild our website?
Not necessarily. We first review the existing site, its technical condition and how services and locations are organized. That helps determine whether focused changes are practical or a larger rebuild is needed.
What access or information do you need?
Depending on the agreed work, we may need CMS access, Search Console or GA4 access, relevant business profile ownership, accurate service and location details, and timely review of content. We confirm the specific requirements before starting.
How long before we see changes?
Timing varies. Profile edits can appear once Google accepts them; page and technical changes take longer to be crawled and show up in results. We agree on review points at the start instead of promising a timeline.
How does AI search affect local SEO?
Google says there are no extra requirements to appear in its AI Overviews or AI Mode: the same fundamentals apply, such as accurate, helpful pages that can be found and indexed. Other AI tools don’t publish how they choose sources, so clear, consistent profiles, pages and listings are the sensible bet everywhere. We check how you appear in AI answers as part of each review.
